Thank God Brandy and Beyoncé were on board for the release of this song and the copyright was reversed. This throwback is as nostalgic as they come. 99 souls kills it with this destiny's child and Brandy 90s mash up.​

The up and coming British house band originally released this tune in 2014 as a mash-up of Destiny Child's "Girl" and Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine". A year later, with Beyonce's consent and a re-recorded vocal from Brandy, the song was re-released and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart.

"The Girl Is Mine" is another track to add to that summer playlist arsenal. It's just good-feeling music that's going to pick you up regardless of if the weather is cooperating or not.
